Graduation
Well.........WE MADE IT! It has been a long 5 years but we have made it to a great point. Chris graduated from BYU April 19th and 20th. He also commissioned as on Officer in the United States Army. I am so proud of him. He has worked so hard and totally deserves this. Being married for almost 5 years and all of those years Chris has been in school it will finally be nice to just have a job and a real paycheck coming in. Chris' parents were able to come out for the ceremonies and so we had a very busy but exciting week. Chris, his dad, and Noah all climbed the "Y". We went to Bridal Veil falls. We went to Temple Square and toured the conference center. We did the BYU tour and then two days full of graduation and commissioning stuff. We made a trip to the BYU bookstore and spent WAYYYYY too much money. We ate a few meals out at our favorite local restaurants and I cooked a few nights for our family. We had so much fun! I couldn't have asked for a better week.

A time for celebration
So it is 4:00am and I can't sleep. Part of this is probably because I drank a 5 hour energy at lunch time. LOL The other part is Im so excited that my in laws are coming in tomorrow...or should I say in a few hours. I can't sleep. I am soooooooooo ready for them to get here so the party can begin. Chris finished his last two finals today and so he is officially done with school. Now we have graduation and his commissioning ceremony this week. I am so proud of him and all his has accomplished over the last 5 years. There were times I wondered if this school thing was worth it and now I can say HECK YEAH IT WAS! What a great example he is to me and to Noah that an education is worth it and the sacrifice is worth it. I look forward to the future and all the amazing adventures we are going to have because we have chosen to be part of the Army. Thank you Chris for being such an amazing man! I feel so blessed that you chose me to spend eternity with! We are gonna have a blast!
Change of orders
We have waited and waited and finally got our orders. We were so excited to finally get them and we were going to Colorado UNTIL we got a new set of orders. Good news is we are going to...
That's right, SOUTH KOREA! At first we looked at the orders and it had "KS" as the state we were going to. I immediately called my parents and told them that our orders had changed and we were now going to Kansas. KS is the abbreviation for Kansas, right?! So as we are reading the orders my dad asked what city so I looked and told him "APO" that is what the email says. My dad said I have never heard of Apo Kansas so he googled it. Yup he then says APO means overseas but Kansas is not overseas. Finally we find out that we thought KS was Kansas when KS really means Korea South. hahahhahahahahha I then totally lose it. I had just got comfortable with Colorado only to find out we are going out of the Country. CRAZY!!!! Now I couldn't be happier. I am now looking at all the new adventures our family is going to have. I plan on making this a two year vacation with tons of site seeing and many great adventures. Our family is truly blessed!

Noah turns 11
It is so hard to believe that I became a mother 11 years ago. I remember holding Noah for the first time and thinking what a beautiful miracle he was. I remember counting his fingers and toes. I remember learning how to nurse and loving it. I remember holding him all the time just because I could. I remember rocking him to sleep, singing to him, posing him for pictures. He has truly been a blessing in my life and I feel blessed everyday to be his mom. I couldn't ask for a better son. He is such a kind hearted kid and loves life. He is so smart and very athletic. Here are 11 things that I love about him (although there are WAY more than just 11)
1. Noah is smart
2. Noah makes me laugh everyday
3. Noah is so kind and mindful of others feelings
4. He is a great example to me
5. He brings a smile to my face
6. He loves to snuggle with his momma even though he is 11
7. He is always up for new adventures
8. He loves going to the movies with me
9. He loves spending time with his family
10. Noah loves our Savior Jesus Christ
11. Noah is super athletic
I could go on and on about all the things that I love about him but we would be here forever. Happy Birthday Noah! We love you so much and are so proud of the young man you are becoming.
I took Noah and his friend Mason to the zoo for Noah's birthday. Then we had a few friends over for cake and ice cream later that night. The day was a success!
