Moms Visit

My mom, sister-in-law, and brother came to visit for a couple of days. They came on Thursday and will leave on Tuesday morning. On Thursday we did a bunch of shopping and then went to Fazolis for dinner. The ride to Fazolis was bad. We drove to the one that we thought was closest and found out that after a 40 min drive that their is one 5 mins from my house. Boy was I upset, because I was STARVING!!!!!!!! Friday more shopping, my brother, Adam, made BBQ in the crock pot (which was the best BBQ I have ever had), and then we went Ice Skating and got to Ice Skate with Cosmo the mascot for BYU. Then me, my mom, and my sister in law went to a late night movie to see "The Lovely Bones". My mom had read the book and she really wanted to see the movie. It was HORRIBLE! I didn't like it at all and neither did Ashley. Today, Saturday, My best friend Sarah, my mom, me, and my sister in law went to breakfast. Sarah found this awesome place to go and it was soooooooooooooooooo yummy. It is called Gurus. It was a cute little place and the food was way good. Then we went sleding. We let my mom go down on the tube and she ate it bad. She was going down and then totally flipped over going face first. She didn't move for a minute so I was getting ready to panic when she finally got up and acted kind of dazed. She now has a goose egg on her head, a sore shoulder, and a couple sore fingers. She looks like she is gonna make it. Now we are getting ready to go hiking in the mountains. It is a beautiful place that Chris had shown me this summer. We are going to take my family to see all the neat things to do in Utah. Then we are home for the evening with a movie, pizza, and blanket making. I love it. My mom and sister in law taught me how to tie blankets. We already made one and I would like to make one more. Tomorrow is off to church in the morning and then headed to Salt Lake City to Temple Square. I can't wait for my brother and his wife to see the Salt Lake Temple. Then Monday we are going to go the Salt Lakes' Hogle Zoo. I will blog later about all the other fun things that we do. I am soooo glad that they came to visit. I love my family!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
